York Hospital’s imaging services provide you with a full array of state-of-the-art diagnostic and interventional radiology services in a welcoming and comfortable community hospital setting. Diagnostic imaging such as CT scan, MRI, and ultrasound are available, as is general radiography and interventional radiology. Many areas of our imaging services have received accreditation from the American College of Radiology. These accreditations help to assure that you’re receiving safe, high quality, and professional care.
Once we’ve received your images for diagnostic testing, our imaging team will happily move forward with the reporting process for you and your provider.
How long does it take to get results?
Once images are obtained, a board-certified radiologist will interpret the images. A formal report is then generated and automatically sent to your provider’s office. Copies of reports are also sent to any additional providers involved in your care as requested by you or your provider.
How do I request a copy of my results?
We’d be happy to provide you with a copy of your test results. Simply call (207) 363-4321 x-3563, and our Medical Records representative for the Imaging Department will assist you.
What if I have questions about my test results?
If you have questions about the interpretation of your images, please understand that our imaging staff is neither permitted nor qualified to interpret any imaging results. Therefore, it’s best for you to contact your ordering provider for an explanation of how these results may be used for your care and treatment.
Who can I contact about my experience?
